Tilting Type Melting Furnace
The melting furnace has been designed for Melting small size lump scrap nonferrous metals and waste metal shavings covered with oil or grinding slurry without preliminary cleaning. The product of melting, depending on initial raw material, can be either a branded metal, or an ingot for a further processing. Melting is carried out in a layer of liquid synthetic slag blown with high-temperature gaseous products of fuel combustion. Furnace is designed to meet the high production demands of industry. It is made of heavy gauge welded steel with rugged cast iron legs and top rims. Furnace is designed for melting lead, Babbitt, tin, zinc, type metal, scrap and all other low or medium-fusion metals and alloys.
Bulk Melting Rotary Furnace
The rotary melting furnace is the most flexible and universal design of equipment to recycle Lead, Aluminium & Cast Iron Scrap. Due to the nature of its operation all scrap forms can be recycled with good results. The rotary furnace is rotated by a friction drive wheel system or by a chain drive depending upon the size and production requirements. A single door is utilised with either vertical or horizontal rotation depending upon the plant layout. The burner installed in the furnace will be according to capacity of the material inserted in the furnace. AMCO make rotary furnaces to suit all applications and client requirements. We can supply oxy-fuel burner system, cold air burner operating on either fuel oil or gas. Any size of furnace or configuration can be developed by AMCO of either static or tilting design.
REVERBERATORY FURNACES
HEAT SYSTEMS Reverberatory furnaces (direct fired, open hearth design furnaces), are the style most often used for remelt of non-ferrous metals and are typically called reverbs. Applications of the reverb furnaces are melting of all forms of solids, holding of molten metal for temperature adjustment, alloy adjustment or metal treatment, and delivery of molten metal for casting.
